About Us

The purpose of this Society is to enable medical assisting professionals to enhance and demonstrate the knowledge, skills and professionalism required by employers and patients; protect medical assistants’ right to practice; and promote effective, efficient health care delivery through optimal use of multi-skills of Certified Medical Assistants (CMAs).

The Society shall strive to:

• Cooperate at all times with the medical profession in improving public relations.
• Provide educational services for the self-improvement of its members and to stimulate a feeling of fellowship, respect, and cooperation among its component chapters.
• Encourage and assist chapters and assist in forming new local chapter within the State of Tennessee.
